Ultrasonic NDT is a highly effective way to detect the very smallest of imperfections or damage in aerospace materials or components throughout their operational life, without materially affecting the integrity of the item being tested. Aerospace non-destructive testing can be used to detect defects such as geometrical faults; material thickness, welding defects, delamination, cracks or corrosion.

Our highly accurate range of products (LTPA, MP6) are successfully used in this sector for both contact or immersion inspection of components, with advanced capability such as high dynamic range meaning our solutions are ideal for detailed inspection and interrogation of composite (e.g. winglets) as well as metal components (fan blades).
